This Dream Planner is
My new Christian planner from Horacio Printing arrived this past weekend and that announcement deserves all the praise hands. I used their Dream Planner last year and it was so life-changing that I instantly became a brand loyalist opting to use their 2019 planner this year and add their SOAP Bible Study to my Christian life resources.
Brandon and I frequently talk about where we fail in our goal to live Christ-like and this planner is so helpful for keeping those areas of our lives on track. There are pages in the planner for things like generosity planning to help you identify who you want to give your time and money to as a way of sharing your blessings. In the past we’ve donated to the ASPCA, Charity: Water, and Room to Read but we’ve been having discussions lately about choosing more local organizations this year.

Last weekend I sat down to do a Heart Check (another one of my favorite pages in the planner) and map out my goals and plans for 2019.
- Who do I want to become?
- What memories do I want to make?
- What dreams do I want to pursue?
- What goals do I want to accomplish?
- Which organizations do I want to support?
- What areas of my life do I want to improve?
Being able to answer those questions while also organizing my day-to-day and month-to-month life is why I love this planner so much. Rather than carrying around a faith-based journal, my life planner, and a Bible study, I can toss my Dream Planner in my bag and be good to go. This is 100% my top recommendation as a planner for Christian women because it’s focused on the core values of our faith, keeps them front-and-center, and asks us to consider them as part of our life planning.
Last Sunday, I took my pup, my coffee, and my Dream Planner upstairs for a little one-on-one time with God to reflect on 2018 and get my heart right for 2019.
In a lot of ways, 2018 was a tough year. I lost my job and we moved (again) only this time we moved to state neither of us had ever lived in before and where we didn’t know a soul. It was frightening and overwhelming at times. I started a new career and changed directions with Honey & Pine Co. It was a year of change and my heart has been desperately crying out for a feeling of stability and normalcy. Sitting down with this planner helped me put words to my feelings and my goals which gave me a lot of comfort as we prepare to head into another new year.
This year our goals include:
- Traveling more (with the dogs) across the USA
- Being more conscious of the words we speak and being intentional with the kindness and compliments we give to others
- Be more diligent in our commitment to charity and sharing our blessings with others
I’m looking forward to seeing how our lives grow and where God leads us in 2019.
