Hey guys! I can’t wait until this weekend because Brandon and I are heading off to Myrtle Beach to join in the #MakingStridesMyrtleBeach 5k Beach Walk. If you’re in the area, I hope to see you there. The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k Beach Walk starts at Crown Reef Resort at 9am on Saturday, November 4th. Registration fees are $25 / person (12 and under are free) which goes to support Breast Cancer research.

For details about the event, visit the Crown Reef Resort website.

I’ll be sharing video and images on Instagram all weekend so if you don’t already follow me, go click the little follow button now. We have a busy weekend ahead! We’re driving down to Myrtle Beach on Friday morning and are likely to spend the evening out doing a little exploring and finding a vegetarian place for dinner.

Saturday morning is the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k Beach Walk and Saturday evening we are heading to the T.I.G.E.R.S experience at Myrtle Beach Safari where they have a real Liger and I’ve been told I can interact and cuddle tiger cubs! Y’all do not know how excited I am about that!!! It’ll be on IG for sure.

Plans for Sunday are still tentative but we’re hoping to spend some time on the pier, soak in the ocean view, and maybe ride the Myrtle Beach ferris wheel. We haven’t been to the beach since our disastrous trip to Savannah, GA last year so I’m looking forward to being seaside for a while.

Monday morning we’re off to a local Myrtle Beach winery and we’re scheduled to do a Facebook Live with the owner as we tour the location and share a bit about hand-bottling techniques. I am certain that’s going to be a good time so be sure to follow me on Facebook so you can catch the experience. After the winery, we’re heading home.

I am so grateful to Vacation Myrtle Beach for sponsoring our trip to Crown Reef Resort and for making this entire weekend possible. Make sure you’re following Instagram because I’ll be doing a hotel tour of the Crown Reef Resort once we arrive and sharing so much I know you’re going to want to see.

Oh, and no the dogs are not going with us on this trip. Crown Reef Resort is not pet-friendly (bummer) so the dogs are staying home with our pet- and house-sitter (ahem…my family). I know we travel with our dogs 99% of the time and I usually only feature pet-friendly hotels but Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a good cause and I totally trust my dogs with my family.
