Hey guys! Happy Valentine’s Day! I know it’s not officially Valentine’s Day until tomorrow but since I don’t publish on Thursday I wanted to be sure to hop on here today and wish you all a happy holiday with the ones you love the most. Brandon and I were planning to either explore downtown or take a drive and explore Branson, Missouri but the weather forecast is in the 20s with snow so we figured it’s probably smartest for us to stay close to home and find another way to celebrate together.

I’m not sure if we’ll end up going out or celebrating at home because the weather here is so crazy. It’ll be 60-degrees one day then 11-degrees the next with 6-inches of snow and ice all over the roads. We can’t trust the weather forecast either because I’ve literally seen the forecast on my weather app change from hour to hour. We’ll end up making plans for Friday night on Friday and plans for Saturday on Saturday morning.

If the weather is bad, I want to try making this Lemon Cheesecake Mousse dessert I found on Cooking Classy. I’ve made recipes from her food blog before and they’ve always been delicious so I trust her 100%. Plus, lemon desserts are my favorite, especially lemon cookies or lemon-curd filled cupcakes. After dessert we’ll probably cuddle under a blanket and curl up with a movie while the snow falls outside.

If the weather is good we’ve thought about going out to explore the City Museum since everyone around here is always talking about what a must-see spot it is, then have dinner somewhere downtown. I’ve bookmarked a couple of reddit threads of people sharing their favorite St Louis restaurants so we have a lot of options. If we can go out but have to stay close to home due to weather we’ll probably end up at a movie or bowling. We are both really, really bad at bowling but it’s always good for a few laughs at our own expense, haha.

If the weather is nice where you are I hope you’re able to get out and enjoy a beautiful day with the person or people you love. Explore a new neighborhood, have a picnic, try a scavenger hunt, or just enjoy a quiet day together. Whatever you do, I hope you love it!
