Wall Art for Garden Lovers

I’ve been so excited lately because I’ve read a lot of articles about new trends in home decor and how “grandma-style” is coming back. The articles I’ve read (particularly on Southern Living) have referred to grandma-style as wallpaper, floral prints, dark wood, and mismatched furniture. That kind of style is right up my alley and I finally feel inspired to decorate our home. I’ve never been a fan of all-white so the heavy white-washed aesthetic that has been on trend lately has left me feeling empty.

I'm all about the floral prints and dark wood that is coming on to the scene again. Brandon and I have been starting to get really into houseplants (this book has been a fantastic resource for us) and I'm excited to see more (pet-friendly) plants and greenery in our home. I'm starting by picking up new garden-inspired wall art for our bathrooms and my kitchen so I've been browsing Minted for garden-inspired wall art.

It’s also getting me excited for spring which I hope rolls in early this year. I took the dogs out for a walk the other day and spotted about a dozen American Robin’s which often signals spring is on the way. I’m keeping my fingers crossed because I’m excited to get new flowers and vegetable plants into pots.

These are a few of the art prints I’m loving at the moment and I’d love your input! If you have a favorite, please drop it in the comments below. I’ll share the one(s) I end up buying once I make a decision (hopefully soon!).

Do you have a favorite print? What are your thoughts on the return of “grandma” decor?

    • Me too. I definitely want floral in our master bedroom. I have floral right now but our bedding is pretty muted and I’d like something a bit more colorful. I’m also adding houseplants to help clean the air. We have two dogs and my husband vapes so I could really use plants that filter and produce clean oxygen.
