Trying to Conceive After Miscarriage

It’s so hard to figure out when it’s time to start trying to conceive after miscarriage. When I lost my first pregnancy in May, 2014 I felt nothing but depression and anger for months. At times, I didn’t know how I felt. If my husband, parents, siblings, or friends brought up the subject of trying again I quickly shut the conversation down. I didn’t want to think about it, much less to talk about it. It was too painful and the idea of trying to conceive after miscarriage made me break down in sobs all over again.

Now, it’s been over a year since our loss and I’m starting to feel ready to have the conversation. There’s no set time for the healing. I know some women that felt ready after a couple of months while others took well over a year. Everyone grieves differently.

We starting talking about trying again a few months ago. He brought it up tentatively at first and I know he was uncertain about how I was going to respond after staying silent for so long. He brought up our job security, the comfort of our new home, and the spare room with no current use. As we talked about life and dreams I realized it was time to move forward and try again. This time I’m also open to a little extra help and fortunately Astroglide® has joined my TTC journey.

Trying to conceive after miscarriage

I was sent Astroglide TTC Trying to Conceive to assist us in our journey trying to conceive after miscarriage. Hopefully, we will be able to add a sweet bundle of joy to our family soon. We love our furbabies but we are ready to hold a real baby in our arms. Astroglide TTC™ is specially formulated for couples who are trying to conceive and supports fertility with adjusted pH levels. It also doesn’t impede sperm mobility like other products do which, as you know, is super important when you’re trying to become parents!

After my miscarriage, I felt like I had plenty of justifiable excuses for not being ready to try again. I said:

  • It’s too soon. I don’t want this to feel like a ‘replacement’ baby.
  • I just started a new job. I want to be off of probation first.
  • We need new furniture. I want our apartment to feel like a home before we add a baby.
  • Let’s save a bit more money first.

But now, it’s been 13 months since my miscarriage, I’m off of probation at work and received a pay raise, our apartment is furnished, and our savings is healthy. We’re in a good place and the biggest thing our lives are missing is a child. Not to mention, my niece turns 2 tomorrow and she has certainly aided in my case of baby fever. We’re ready to be parents.

I’m hoping that Astroglide TTC helps make our journey to parenthood a quick one. There are other products on the TTC market that also affect environmental conditions (such as PH levels, osmolality, and the consistency of cervical mucus) studies have shown that Astroglide TTC is compatible with sperm and allows it to move freely which increases our chance of being successful! It also comes in pre-filled applicators so it’s easy to use and less messy than other products (another bonus!).

I’m really excited that Astroglide TTC has sponsored our journey to parenthood and I’m anxious to be able to come back on here and announce that we’re expecting! I’m praying that all goes well and God blesses our new adventure in life. We’re praying over these Bible verses daily as we continue trying to conceive after miscarriage. That loss was hard and we need the extra encouragement to keep trying. If you’re on your own TTC journey, and you’re interested in trying Astroglide TTC it’s available on Amazon and it’s totally worth the investment!

Astroglide TTC™ sponsored this blog post and our journey TTC after miscarriage.
