If you noticed, at the bottom of this post I included a short, fun quiz to help determine what kind of vegetable you are. It received great engagement and generated comments on Facebook as readers responded to my prompt to share their results. A few people reached out asking me where I was able to create the quiz so I thought I’d take time today to share my secret weapon – Interact.
I joined Interact a few weeks ago so I could begin building interactive quizzes to incorporate into my blog posts. They are great for boosting reader engagement, driving traffic, increasing subscribers, and lead generation (if you’re using them to build your business). There are so many ways you can use Interact quizzes within your blog posts. I’ve already brainstormed dozens of ways they can help drive affiliate sales, generate interest in sponsored posts, build my email list, generate new client leads, and so much more. Really, it’s limited only by your own creativity.

Regardless of the type of blog / website you run, there is a quiz for you. There are quizzes for beauty, traveling, books, gardening, blogging, television, and dozens of other categories. If you want to use pre-made quizzes, simply choose from the options available. If you’re feeling creative and want to build your own, go for it! It’s super easy and I put together a video tutorial to prove it.

I’m not going to lie and pretend like I create my own quizzes. Honestly, I use the pre-made quizzes most of the time. They have such a wide variety of quizzes available to chose from that it’s a huge time-saver to plug-and-play. Since I’m primarily using it to boost engagement and drive traffic, I haven’t bothered to set up an opt-in at the end of the post but you can. Interact allows you to collect email addresses so you can use it to increase your email subscribers or to generate new leads.
- You use the “What kind of blogger are you” pre-made quiz in a blog post or on your Facebook page.
- Interact requires an email address before displaying the quiz results.
- You follow-up by email with an inquiry about their blog and pitching your blog coaching services, eBooks, or courses.
Now, see how that works?
Interact does more than quizzes though; it also offers the ability to run giveaways and create polls!
One of the most frustrating things I’ve encountered as a blogger has been the need for so many different platforms, apps, and tools. I find myself tired of having to open twelve different browser tabs just to write a blog post, create graphics, schedule social shares, generate quizzes, create giveaways, etc. Interact being able to handle generating reader interaction and leads is a huge time-saver and its keeps it all in one place. It is, by far, one of the best investments I’ve made for my blog.
