The Halloween games were always my favorite parts of the holiday parties. There was always pumpkin carving contest, bobbing for apples, horror mazes, and loads of other unique ideas. One of my favorites though was the costumed scavenger hunts. Since we’ve been married I have spent so much time trying to figure out how Brandon and I can enjoy Halloween without dressing up, attending a party, or having children. It’s like everything I come across is a crazy haunted house, dress-up party, or kid-friendly event. I wanted something we could do together so I shared all of my old favorite Halloween games and we decided to do our own Halloween scavenger hunt.
Doing a Halloween scavenger hunt lets us enjoy being around the festivities while having our own thing going on. I put together two Halloween-themed hunts for this post so you can pick your poison (see what I did there 😉 Ha!). The first one is easier but if you’re up for a challenge, I have you covered. If you’re really feeling it, you could print off multiple copies and make a challenge out of it with family and friends.
If you decide to go out on a hunt I’d love if you’d share some of the pictures on Instagram and use my hashtag #adventuringtogether so I can follow along with your Halloween games.
Ready? Here they are. Just click the image to open the printable PDF. They are free and there’s no need to subscribe to get the files.
If you’re the kind of person who is up for a challenge during their Halloween scavenger hunt then you’re totally my kind of people! Brandon and I prefer to get out there, explore, and search when we’re on a hunt. The second one probably requires that you drive around a bit, get out of your car, and dig in deep so fill a thermos with hot cider, pack some snacks, plan a scary music soundtrack, and take lots of pictures!
And, one more time, if you take pictures of your adventure I’d love it if you shared them on IG using my hashtag #adventuringtogether so I can follow along. Good luck and Happy (almost) Halloween!
