This post is sponsored by Dog Collar World and I received complimentary collars for my pups. All opinions are my own.
Much to my husband’s dismay, I love dressing up our pups. Every year I look forward to fall and winter because I can dress them in adorable little t-shirts and sweaters; they look so cute! Plus, I can justify it because their breeds don’t do well in the cold. The extra layers help keep them warm so he can’t argue with me over it too much. During the summer I don’t put any clothes on them because it’s just too hot. The only thing they ever wear is a collar if they are running free or a harness if they are on a leash. Their collars were looking really worn-out so a few weeks ago when Dog Collar World reached out with an offer to send me new collars for my pups, I jumped on it.
They have so many options for collars that it was almost impossible to decide which ones I wanted for the boys. In the end I opted for Navy Blue London Plaid for Wilkins (size small) and Red and White Gingham for Tebow (size x-small). I think they look pretty studly, don’t you?
I love the extra level of protection the collars add by having their name embroidered on them. Both of my dogs are microchipped with their data because we had an issue in the past where Wilkins escaped and the metal ID tag fell off his collar. He was roaming around our then-Atlanta suburb all by his lonesome self wearing a collar that didn’t help him at all. Due to their microchipping I opted not to have our phone number embroidered on the collar but it’s an option. Besides, right now I still have my Atlanta number so I’m sure I’ll be changing it at some point in the future. It’s easy to update the microchipping account with a new phone number and the pups can still wear the same collars.
For less than $10, they are totally worth it.
