For the last week I’ve spent the majority of my time scouring Pinterest and gathering recipes for Thanksgiving dinner. This year I’m expected to bring sides and desserts and I’ve settled on making mini-pies and cookies. I haven’t yet mastered the skills of decorating cookies or making beautiful handmade pie crusts so I tend to rely pretty heavily on cute gadgets, cookie cutters, and other baking essentials. It just makes my baking life easier.
One of my favorite places to shop for seasonal items is Williams Sonoma. I’ve scoured their website non-stop for the last couple of days and decided to share some of my favorites with you today. If you have any fall baking to-do (and who doesn’t?) you’re going to love these!

Personally, I’m all about that little “baked with love” topper. IT’S CUTE! Since we are going to try to make mini-pies for each Thanksgiving guest I think it would be a cute way to top the crust. Yesterday I watched a YouTube video about making pretty pie crusts which all looked fabulous but that cutter in the top left corner seems like it would do the job a lot easier than I could if I tried to do it by hand. As much as I love being in the kichen, I love it even more when it’s easy.
The cookie cutters caught my eye because, cookies. I just wish I was better at working with royal icing. It’s a goal. I’m working on it. I’m hoping to practice on a lot of cookies this year and hopefully nail it before Valentine’s Day. We all need simple attainable goals sometimes, right?
